The "Equal Opportunity To Govern" Amendment

Article II, section 1, clause 5, of the US Constitution declares: "No person except a natural-born citizen, or a citizen of the United States at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President." I believe that naturalized citizens should be eligible for things such as governors and senators but I don't think they should be able to run for President. "The natural-born-citizen clause is discriminatory..." I completely agree with this point. It's not equal, if the citizens can serve in the military, their required to pay taxes, endure hardships along with the rest of Americans, etc. ..... then they should have the same rights as a native born. However, when it comes down to a role as great as President, things change. I don't think they should be able to run for President. UNLESS, they have spent a majority of their life living in America.
